  • Financing and recapitalising

    • Refinanced and restructured $1.2b syndicated debt to support a $300m equity raise (Agribusiness).
    • Refinanced and restructured $550m club debt to support a $300m equity raise (Contract Services).
    • Refinanced and restructured $600 club debt to support a $60m equity raise (Property).
    • Restructured club and bilateral debt of $170m for a $1b turnover Contract Services business.
    • Refinanced $250m debt (Contract Services), $110m (Agribusiness), $120m (Agribusiness).
    • Refinanced and restructured bilateral facilities for numerous small listed and large private companies.
    • Investment committee role with specialist Agribusiness lender.
  • Board advice and roles

    • Assisted with IPO preparation and due diligence (Professional Services, Contract Services, Property).
    • Roles providing independent advice to the boards of public companies (Finance, Retail, Agribusiness).
    • Former NED and Audit and Risk Committee Chair of Surf Stitch (ASX:SRF). Proposed $15m to recapitalise SRF and return it to shareholders.
  • Rebuilding

    • Negotiated and implemented debt for equity swaps to restructure $80m debt (Contract Services), and $50m debt (Agribusiness).
    • Lead advisor to restructure $US270m debt for Indonesia’s BFI Finance. Pre-restructuring market cap of $US29m to post restructuring market cap $US400m (and pre COVID-19 almost USD$4b.
    • Restructured listed Indonesian entities: Bakrie Brothers, Concord Group and Trias Sentosa.
    • Oversaw the management buyout of Auscript, the Australian court reporting business, for the Australian Attorney General.
